Bosnia Spirit is an independent travel guide dedicated to Bosnia & Herzegovina. Our mission is to help travellers discover this underrated corner of Europe honestly — the war history handled with care, the adventure opportunities (rafting the Una, Neretva and Tara), the hidden gems that bigger travel sites ignore (Trebinje, Blagaj, Počitelj, Sutjeska), and the practical logistics that make or break a trip.

Our approach

Every guide, itinerary and recommendation on this site is built on thorough research. We name real hotels, quote real prices in both BAM and EUR, give honest assessments of tourist traps, and tell you when something is genuinely not worth the trip. We do not operate our own tours and we have no financial relationship with accommodation providers — our only revenue comes from activity bookings on GetYourGuide.

What we cover

Bosnia Spirit covers the whole country: Sarajevo's layered history, the Ottoman heartland of Herzegovina (Mostar, Blagaj, Kravice), the wild national parks (Sutjeska, Una), the Dinaric Alps ridge walks (Lukomir, Maglić, Via Dinarica), and the gateway cities in Croatia and Montenegro (Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor) from which many travellers reach Bosnia on a day trip.
